Yes finally I had enough. Scraped them and will use a dipsey in place but tried today with braid and was unfishable there were so many fleas. I cant believe they stopped making flea flicker line. What a joke.
get wire for your dipsy rigs much better than braid especially with the fleas around

I have to agree with the dipsys love them went out last Tuesday and got 2 kings one about 10 and one almost 20 on dipsys had 2 riggers fire one was a brown we lost at the back of the boat and on was no one home had a 3rd fire on the dipsys that was no one home so we went 2 for 5 with 3 bites on dipsys vs 2 on riggers the last time I was out before that was late May and nothing on a dipsy and got 4 fish on riggers and one on a 10 color leadcore riggers were 3 stellies and 1 king and the leadcore was a steelie we went 5 for 7 that day going back out Thursday or Friday. never tried a jet diver though

hate to say it but temps are all over the place was out Tuesday and we had 55 degree water in one spot at 60 ft right after coming out of 45 degree water at 60 ft then back to 45 then to 42 was nuts curents were nuts that day as we had a west blow in the afternoon which probably stirred the temps up even more we were out of Mexico Point though not sandy

was out Tuesday and we picked up 2 kings lost a small brown at the back of the boat and 2 fire with no one home but yes had to deal with fleas they were horrible and the temps were all over the place for us also just kept changing depths and f/f till we found them for each fire

I will see what I can dig up on this k.i.s.s. principle. It might take me some time to research. Good news however, this week I got notification I passed my Captain-Obvious six-pack course so I should be able to help you a lot with your questions going forward.
the KISS principle = Keep It Simple Stupid

on my boat normally guests go first but 1st trip on Ontario with it one guest handed me the rod on the 1st fish and let me get it in since it was the 1st fish on my boat on Ontario. then he went next 1st 2 both steelies. the 3rd guy got the only king of the day LOL. loved watching his face as that king was screaming line off.

John1947 I have had my boat since January had my 10 color leadcore in the water one trip landed one steelie on it trolled it about 12 hours that trip still a lot to learn here about Lake O but love fishing it

always lead the fish into the net head first but make sure the net is deeper than the fish and lift up to the fish as soon as the fish is all the way over the net
-
beautiful steelhead there never got one over 15 myself still looking for the 20# my 15 came out of the salmon river 2 years ago
-
all I have is a 300 ft copper myself going to look at a 400 and 500 also for varying depths and I also have a 10 color leadcore I can use is certain situations so I would keep both

No it isn't color but it has good definition is dual beam and has speed and surface temp . It is a real good unit for the price if on a budget

I hope they find him alive but if he was a long way out in a 16 ft boat with the weather we got could be bad news. I personaly would never be out there in less than a 19 ft boat and in that small of a boat would be watching the weather very close so I could get back in. Hopefully it was just the motor gave out and he hasn't been seen yet and is ok. Praying for his safe return.

Many tournament participants received an e-mail the other day about the Orleans County Pro Am being canceled. The tournament committee in Orleans County was unable to raise enough money to be part of the Western Cup, which combined the points from Niagara and Orleans County. Therefore, we were forced to build something a small town like Pt. Breeze could sustain for future events.

the length of copper you use depends on how deep the fish are and in general it is 22 ft per 100 but varies by trolling speed, currents etc
