You're right. The potential of a few other states tigers are ridiculous. Utah, Washington, New Mexico have serious fish. But, those people also actively participate in the lunge log. Very few people from NY do.

Thanks guys. I'd be out there every day if I could Justin. Tigers are so intriguing to me. I could fish for pure breads, and I do, but there is something about tigers for me that I can't explain. I think it has more to do with the fact there is an extremely small percentage of anglers who truly target tigers. I'm battling back and forth with a guy from Washington state for top 25 Hybrid releases. He's real good, and has many years of experience on me. I think that has a bit to do with my motivation this year, other than to find the biggest fish in the lake.

Had some fun with my cousin yesterday. He was up from NC and loves fishing for tigers when he is home. He broke a personal best and blades still seem to trump every other style of bait. He went 4/5 and got one on the figure 8 without ever seeing the fish. Goes to show how important it is to not rush through it.

Put a few in the boat this weekend. Water temps shot up close to 70 degrees on the surface. Monday, we finally got the strong consistent wind that I like and it was on. Burning bucktales over boulders in 5-10fow within close proximity to deep water seemed to be key.

That's Bull I fish alone and release some big fish. Ever try to get a good shot of a big essox trashing while alone.

Very easy. Get yourself a go pro or sony action cam. Once the fish is netted and the hooks are out, turn the camera on interval shot. There's your pics while fishing alone, as I do 90% of the time.

Nice job Mike! That's to bad about that tiger. I know a couple guys who fish hard for browns and lakers and each of them used to us boga grips. I fish with them often during ice season and after a quick explanation about the damage they can do to the fish we love, neither one of them use bogas anymore. I wish everyone could see the big picture.

If it's the same time as last year, I believe you can sign up starting at 630am and start fishing at 7am. I don't remember what time we got of the water. It was 3 or 4pm. We met and had a cook out at the pavilion at the campground.
