  1. Well today started out fast! We sat down in 60fow, west of the marina. And did a North West troll. We got all our lines set and spread running nice and made our way past 110fow and 6 color with a Mag Blue Ratchet Jaw fired with a teens king. We then hit a mid teen king around 150. Once we hit 200fow we turned around and started a south troll. Picked up a few small kings and steelies. With the temp being so cold I had a plan to run spoons up high for the first few hours. We gave a tip to a buddy and he called up and said Meat was firing for him down deeper. We added a few meat rigs to the spread and decided we had a good pick of fish but wanted a better class of fish. Pointed it north and got out to 350 and never saw a good screen past 200-220. Turned around and hit another nice king in like 280. We decided to stay in 160-220 and grind for some bigger fish. We kept picking away and mid teens but couldn't get those 20lb+ fish we wanted. Great day of fishing. We fished about half way in the pack. And definitely never found those BIG kings. Lots of laughs and good food. Overall our best producer was a 400copper pulling a Atomik Meat rig. The current got so bad that we had our 400 copper hit bottom in 150fow and it grabbed some zebra mussels and we probably trolled for last 2 hours with a "dead" rig and never got anything bigger. 2. Fishing out of Bald Eagle last few days. Quick couple hours after work and then some nice rocky weekends for fishing. Fished 60-400fow over the last few days. No rhyme or reason to where the fish are. We caught fish inside and deep. Spent a lot of time searching for big kings and didn't find much. Managed a few steelies, skips and a few mature kings over a few days. Today(Sunday) we got a nice Atlantic that gave us a nice show in the air. Spoons took all the fish. Ran riggers from.30-120 down. Barely marked any bait, had a good amount of marks but definitely not fish that wanted to play with us. Beautiful few days and I'm working out all the kinks in my boat. It's going to be a great year of fishing!

  3. Hi everyone,

I've seen a few post with issues with old riggers and seems everyone is getting some help and good feedback, so I'll try my shot. I have 3 digitroll 4. 1 of them has been very iffy since I got it last year. First is "beeped" for hours until someone walk onto my boat and unplugged it. This was after we fished that morning. Then it randomly stops working at time. Last few trips last year it just stopped working all together. Right now when I plug it in, it beeps. Screen lights up and then immediately shuts down..no response on any buttons. And I have to unplug it and re plug it in again for any "life". Last year I ran 2-DT4 and 1- Cannon 10. I finally found a 3rd DT4 for my spread but now I'm back to where I started. The keypads are shot on 2 of them. And I'm working on some custom stickers for them. But I was also considering taking out the keypad on the one and swapping the Cannon 10 if possible....so I can have better speed on the 3rd rigger. Thanks for any help
