Has anyone every used the Torpedo Speed and Temp Cable with a Cannon Intellitroll? I found directions on their website for a Depth Raider style installation but nothing for the Intellitroll. I like the thought of not having the coating not always rip off the cable

Has anyone ever tried worm burners for brown trout. I use them a lot for walleye I was thinking maybe the worm would help entice a bite

Thanks for the post.
Anybody have any thoughts on the low number of yoy alewife and the effect on the fishery the next few years?

Shimano Telora 8" medium action downrigger rods. It's hard to beat them. I had the Okuma Pro GLT rods before and was completely against buying expensive rods. They're just too many ways to break them on a boat but after using the Teloras I was hooked. Teloras are much more responsive and have a better backbone when you need to dig in for a big fish. Definitely worth the money. I still have the Okumas but use them for walleye now.
I use the 9' Telora roller rods for dipsey I think they have the lightest action out of all the Telora roller rods.
For copper I use the Okuma GLT Copper 8'6" rods. I couldn't be happier with them. I bought a Telora copper rod to try out this year but I don't think it will make much of a difference

I agree with Legacy I use the Okuma Classic Pro GLT Copper rod. It's a great rod for copper and you can get them pretty cheap. I have 8 of them. I just bought a shimano Talora copper rod to try out this year but it's going to be hard to beat the okuma
