  1. I love the layout. Its in cayuga county. There is farms in area and sterling creek. Have heard people buy those trees. Maybe in future hire timber co to make some money and plant food plots. Just didnt know if those trees push deer out
  2. Thinking about buying hunting land for deer. It is about 20 acres but is mostly black locust trees. Is is worth buying? I've heard good and bad things about those trees. Hoping to gather some good info before I decide to buy
  3. I was asking if I bought both bow and MZL could I fill both with my bow? I don't own a mzl yet. It makes no sense at all that I could use a crossbow and fill my MZL tag but not my regular bow. if this is the rule then that is pretty stupid.
  4. Thanks. Better take a trip to the store for another pack of rage hypos
  5. I was thinking about buying my bow, muzzleloader and regular season license for the southern zone. I had twins this spring and would have bought a muzzleloader for this fall but medical bills took a huge chunk out of my fall toys funds. Would I be able to just use my regular bow to fill both my late muzzleloader tag and my bow tag this fall? I have heard of people preferring to hunt the time of muzzleloader with a regular bow, just wanted to make sure it was legal. I know crossbow is Nov 1st on and for late mz but I don't have one. Thanks for any help with my ??
  6. I check them all pretty regularly. Been looking for a long time now. Even go to real estate sights, pennysavers in different regions, etc. Just put this on here if someone else knows someone that would like to sell or lease their land but didn't want to pay broker or advertising fees. Thank you though. I definitely appreciate it.
  7. Looking for 10-15 acres of hunting land for fair price to purchase or even lease farm land. I've been in the market for a long time looking for land for myself and young son in the future. Looking for land in Ontario or Wayne County. If you're rational and have a reasonable offer let me know. I have cash in hand.
  8. Too bad my kids were born this year or I would have jumped on this. Nice rig. I'm still in the market and noticed you said you ordered an older boat from Lund. Who exactly do you go about doing that? Might look in to that option if I knew how.
  9. Thinking about a last trip to Honeoye on the south end boat launch for some jigging and maybe a few tipups. Any news on ice depths down there? Any info would be appreciated. thanks.
  10. I'm really looking forward to trying it on both lakes soon for the first time. I", going to print out the access directions from the DEC and try some tube jigs deep when I get my flasher this coming week now that I don't have to wait for that permit. Can't wait
  11. Do we still need to acquire a permit to fish on hemlock or canadice from Rochester? I bought some publications that are a few years old and thought I heard you didn't need one anymore. Might try to target lakers on either one of the lakes once my hummingbird 55 comes in. Any info would be appreciated.
  12. Trying to figure out the best spot to park so a family member and I can try some perch fishing on I-Bay. I've been told its near the 104 bridge area around Webster? I'm more familiar with Conesus, Honeoye, and Sodus. Would like to get out there in the middle of the week to beat the crowd.
  13. When I was out there last saturday there was a good 6-7 inches of ice. Windy as hell though. Bought some ice anchors for the hut for next time. Only make that mistake once.
  14. It was 33". First time I've been there but will have to make it out there again soon. Beginners luck but I'll take it
  15. Took a buddy out to Sodus Point today. Got a few flags, caught one, jigging for panfish was rough. Kind of windy out but had a shelter and Mr.Heater, or else we would have been in trouble. Here's the one we did get. Had a 2 small perch and 2 bluegills in its stomach. Not a bad day...we didn't get skunked.
  16. Looking for a drift boat, kicker motor, oars, seats, heater system, and anchor system included would be a bonus. Was originally in the market for a nice boat but need to draw back a bit due to wife being pregnant with twins. Don't want anything drastically modified. Any deals out there anyone has heard of let me know.
  17. Have been in the market a long time now for the right deal on a boat to go salmon fishing on the Big O and also take on the finger lakes. Any decent deals out there that you heard of I'd appreciate it. Downriggers, fish hawk speed-temp setup, rod holders, sonar/gps included would be a plus. Looking to keep it under $9000. Thanks.
