  1. I found this clarifying remark in the FAQs:

Q12. Do I need to keep the Engine Cut-Off Switch Link attached at all times?

A12. No. The Engine Cut-Off Switch Link doesn’t need to be attached when the vessel is idling, performing docking maneuvers or just going slow. The Engine Cut-Off Swith Link must be attached whenever the boat is operating on plane or greater than displacement speed

    Important note for small-boat trollers.

Well thanks to Billy it’s assembled.
Won’t put it outside till the cover arrives.
Whole new world of outdoor cooking.
Looking forward to exploring the possibilities. IMG_1931.JPG

I've done a bunch of stuff on mine, but I think my favorite so far has been reverse-seared venison steaks...

  3. I have been running a Humminbird Helix 8 G3N with Chirp (no MEGA or Side Imaging) for the last 2 seasons.  I've been very pleased with the unit for both trolling and jigging.  I am able to watch my jig descend to +100', and can watch fish follow my jig throughout the column.  It's been a gamechanger.

Thank you all for the info.

Klein's was closed yesterday and today.

I didn't know about Ernie's in Richford, so I'll check them out next time.

I went to Dave's, then came back down to Union Springs.

Here is the kicker ............. there is a bait shop on Rt-90 in Union Springs one block from the launch. Lakeside Bait and Tackle. And they have fatheads.

    Pics attached.

    Thanks again.
