  1.  Just had the same problem with one of my older Mag 10's never used heavier  than a 10lb ball, thought for sure it was the motor going bad, sent it to screwey louies  turns out the wiring was bad they put on a new power cord now it works great.

  2. I just put a set of Berts with the tracs on my boat really like them a lot they work very well and very well made but then I saw a set of Cannon rod holders a friend put on his boat and to be honest I liked them better, one thing that really caught me was the 360 swivel that mine do not do check them both out before you decide.

  3. I had my new Mercury 9.9 drag down the interstate when  the bracket broke luckily it only wore the scag and the prop I heard it dragging in time. When I went to buy new bracket all the manufacturers told me do not trailer with motor on I ended up mounting it right on transom and using a saver on bottom so far its worked out well.

  4. Returned to the launch the other day, got to talking with a real nice older gentlemen that in my opinion forgot more about fishing than I'll ever know. When talking about using dipsys and deeper divers he said he now uses slide divers over the other brands can I get some opinions on how they work also do they work well with wire.  Thanks for the feedback

  5. Fished out of Long point yesterday started by going south trolled from power plant South stayed in 30 ft with boards along shore caught about 12 salmon two were bigger maybe 3 lb  one nice rainbow and one brown both were around 4 lb went North of launch for the afternoon trolled 100 to 110 ft of water  downriggers and dipsys with cowbells with  spin n glows and spoons caught 6 Lakers two were 6 lbs  all on bottom marked some at 40 down would not bite all in all a great day.

  6. Thinking about buying a inflatable life jacket and was wondering if anyone has any experience or opinions on them, I looked at a couple different ones and there pretty pricey. I found one on E Bay it's an Onyx AM 24 for 84.00, it's  manual and water activated, does anyone know if you fish in rain or if it got splashed in the boat would it deploy, this time of year they seem to be the way to go as far as wearing all the time any pro's and cons will be helpful before I buy one. Thanks

  7.   Not to sure if this is the right place to post this question but here goes, I tried to post some pics yesterday from weekend fishing but when I download them to the post they were sidways is there a way to edit or rotate them I tried everything I can think of I've posted pics before and did not have this problem. Thanks for any advice.

  9. I was reading a post the other day about a purple challenger lure that is hard to find, also about purple smithwicks I tried to find this post again but couldn't does anyone know what lure and color they were talking about I allways have good luck with purple especially Rapala Purple Dessent and would like to pick some others up.  Thanks

  11. All done with the rebuild it was a total success, not a bad job at all the hardest part was getting the old wood out did not come in one piece, had to pry rip and tear the electric chain saw was a great idea did a lot with that. Once we got all the old wood out a little bit of a job fitting new wood with no templet to follow but we had enough big pieces we removed to get a start. Thanks for everyone's response you all were a big help.post-157652-0-09116100-1453132878_thumb.jpgpost-157652-0-86761000-1453132912_thumb.jpgpost-157652-0-20903400-1453132940_thumb.jpgpost-157652-0-29855800-1453133000_thumb.jpgpost-157652-0-77935900-1453133043_thumb.jpg
