  1. Fishing remains incredible.  Lines getting hit as soon as you put them down. Riggers at 50 and 65' down . divers out 150' and 180'. Had a moment to get a 250 copper out and it immediately got smoked. Pulled the tx44 under and snapped the braid backing.  Kids spotted the board so we swung around and grabbed the board with the fish still attached.  I hand lined it in and got all the gear back. We didn't stay out long with the chop building.  160 fow was loaded with bait and fish and we had it mostly to ourselves.

Nice job, I think we launched close to same at the dock. I have the maroon Starcraft. Glad to see the kids had fun.

Oh yes. They had a blast. How do you like your boat? I will be in the market for a big aluminum soon and I'm trying to narrow down my list of boats I like

  3. Stupid bite out of sandy this morning. Kids had the day off so we went fishing. Lines in at 5:30 and the action never stopped. I was exhausted by 6:30.100 to 160 fow is covered with fish. Had 44 degrees down 60. Never got a full spread in the water. We had over 50 bites and put about 40 in the boat including 10 kings over 20 pounds,  8 Lakers and our first steelhead of the year to finish the day.

  4. Yes there are some crazy currents that happen out there and they will effect cannon ball weights when you get then deep. It was mentioned above that shark style and torpedo weights will track much better. There are some guys on this site that make both styles and I highly recommended them

There is currently a massive mudline out in front of the genny west to ibay.  I think it’s from the dredging of the river? It’s so pronounced right now it looks unnatural. I will drive by on the way to pick up my kids and get a pic.

You can see it on the satellite images from today
