Fished the last 3 days between olcott and wilson struggled to say the least today wouldn't count as fishing didn't even have rods down 45 mins when the dog decided to puke and crap all over the boat ..anyway best picture and most productive was 150 almost right out front olcott lost a screamer and landed a 20 lb king picked up a coho and some shakers hopfull fishing gets better b 4 worse both big hits came off mnt.dew spinny with a green pro am fly 220 on a 2 setting ..

  2. Your fish finder won't tell you the depth of the rigger ball. It only tells you how far it is away from the transducer. It displays that as depth, as that's the only way it can. So if the ball is back of the boat, the FF does care how far back, it just thinks it's deeper.

    What size rigger weight do you have.

    A 12 lb weight, travelling 2.5 mph downspeed, at 100 ft will probably be off depth by 20 to 30 ft (you actually need to drop the rigger to 130 ft to get 100 ft deep).

    So both your rigger and FF will say the same thing, but that doesn't mean you know what depth the ball is at.

    I don't believe 20-30 ft at all ....I've seen 6-10 with others that have 4xd.. I understand it's not as accurate but for the money I'm good

  3. Northwoods has the 4x the whole unit for 529$ I think u have to call ..I didn't spend the Xtra on 4xd because my graph picks up my riggers up to about 90-100 ft .and I don't need blue tooth ...4x was great had my best season last yr

I have had a few friends with success casting at night in 15' of water one went 7-12 a few nights ago ...but the people trolling I've talked to struggled ...but the fish r up hi ..I would run a few boards a side and try spoons plugs and stick baits I've heard of occasional brown too..I might make it out friday I'll let u know

I also fished sunday and Monday I went 4 for 5 very slow for me the last 3 trips .lost a really good fish .everything of spindoctors and flys I tried everything mags, spoons behind flasher, plugs ,meat ,standard spoons and slims ...I've been struggling last 3 trips out there and I have been doing well all season
