I have the money and want the boat ..but I also have some fines and other things I need to take care of ..I have to be an adult. But I'm going to start putting a little extra away...and if u still have the boat in the spring I can almost guarantee I'll take it ...

I use big game ...the 30 I run up high for steelhead and tie a #8 barrel swivel on then put a 8-10 ft leader of floro 20#test...I only took 200-300 ft off my normal 20 lbs and tied in 40 to replace u can use a albright knot or blood not look them up if u don't feel like spooling ur whole reel

I took off 200-300 ft of 20 lb and put on 40 mono to run deep off the riggers and took all the 20 off 2 rods and put 30 lb on to run higher on stackers for steelhead put a #8 barrel swivel with 20 lbs floro leader they don't seem to b as heavy in the top 60 fow I have 30 lb braided on the dipsy rods it grabs them pretty good but they come off pretty easy with a single whack once they build up with a fish on ...if I'm just checking or clearing them I reel it in till about 6 ft cut the line and re tie easy and quick

Fished wilson to barker 8/2.. 3 fish 2 steelhead and a smaller king ..200-380 east north east troll ..temp was crazy thought my probe was broke 71 down 60' both steelhead came at 90 and 100...and reel power and silver fox r right I would go much over the length of rod u use I do about 15 but pick rod up and walk to the front of the boat makes up that 5' with a 10'6" rod ..good luck

Yellow and orange spoons somtimes pink work top 50 ft of water..I dropped a big one in 400 the hook broke off the spoon ..35 down with a 50-70 ft lead off the ball...I would start in 350 head north...if u have stackers drop a few deep 70-100 for the kings and run ur stackers 50-35 just longer leads and I would fish 2.6-3 if u r targeting steelhead they like it a little faster

I feel it's the bouncing action ...with tension then it slacks up its like a rubber band and with the right head shake at the right time hook pulls out and the bouncing helps it pull that way....idk 4 sure just my theory I only used on 3 fish and lost 2 all bigger fish so smaller fish might not matter as much
