    Anyone have any experience with the octopus r type drive for an auto pilot drive. Woundering what the advantages are over the helm drive. looking to put auto pilot on my 2000 penn yan with cable steering with power assist . can only find 2 options the octopus drive or the helm. looks like the octopus costs a lot more. Can the octopus drive the motor and a kicker with the main motor off and no power assist? Thanks for the help!

    thanks for the reply L@M. You are right. I am all new to this boat thing. You would not have any suggestions on an auto pilot that would work on my boat . And any sugestions on were to order one. Thanks for your time and experience!

    Needs some help. Trying to figure out an auto pilot for my 2000 penn yan . I need to figure out the cubic capacity of the steering ram. So far I figured out that it is a mercruiser power steering15293-c ram . Would anyone know the cubic capacity or how I can figure it out. Thanks for your time and help!!!!!!!!

    Looking to buy 24 ft hardtop. Have looked at several thompson's all had rotten floors in them. interested in Pann Yan or Thompson in decent shape for around $10,000. If anyone know's of any let me know.... Thanks for your help!

    riggers are in great shape except i lost one of the handles so made one that works fine. comes with 2 8lbs cannon balls and mounting plates. $200. located in ransonville NY . pick up only don't want to deal with shipping. thanks for looking !!!!!
