Both chicken livers and Night crawlers work well. Chicken livers sometimes work better but are harder to keep on the hook. I have also heard of people using shrimp but i have never tried it. For a rig all i do is tie on a hook(the ones already attached to a 6 inch leader in the package) about a foot up on the line and attach an egg sinker to the bottom.

I troll and jig depending on what is working. Thanks guys for all the suggestions, they're greatly appreciated!!!

I was looking to go laker fishing one weekend and was wondering what lakes are hot and on which baits they're hitting. Any suggestions on lakes and lures would be great!
