I say 1 step at a time , try 3 mallards . Then go from there. Cutting it in half would push some people away.
3 per person would put u in that 9 to 15. 3 to 5 people in a normal size group.

I think the state should try 3 before they jump to 2.

Not a good way to get people into hunting when u go out and bang bang u go home.

Word on the street possible mallard limit change to the daily limit. I guess they want to change it to 2 per day. Anyone else hear that ?

Found a roost spot with a couple thousand snows on it , I cant hunt the pond but I can hunt the field next to it. Would have shot alot if I could water swat them. They all got up at once and flew over. I went 6 for 6 and my buddy crippled 1 lol .

Usually when we pack it up for the day someone says "and that's why they're the fish of 10,000 casts"

I fished with Zack on Chautauqua lake and trolled early morning then he said lets try 10,000 cast for 1 musky.... 1st cast I ever took for a musky I got a 38in and my 7th cast got a 40in.

Should have been there yesterday . Are there fish in this lake .

We put them down !! It was a real slow morning just 2 solos. Then at 11 it was like someone hit a light switch , they didn't stop flock after flock . Tip of the day , we didn't call 1 time the birds didn't want to hear a thing.

Mid morning hunt in the swamp again today. Again not much going on. Had 1 flock of 30 come in , got 2 and crippled the 3 . Couldn't catch u to him. Took a pic of a nice pair of Widgeon

Got out to the swamp mid morning geese didn't leave to feed yet so I had to bump them off. Had a solo and a 3 pack come in and that was it. Some birds around in fields but I'm done doing work for geese . Took a pic of a flock of pintails.

I guess there was a squirrel tournament today and a bar tournament tomorrow... Go figure I didn't know about the 1 today and got stuff going on tomorrow.
Sounds like fun never been on a squirrel tournament.
Took a walk with the 17 again . I forgot how much fun squirrel hunting is. Just so everyone knows the ticks are out !!! Had a couple on me today.

It's so much fun !!! When u deer hunt they chatter , bark followed with a cry. I can't stand it . Yet they grow enough balls to climb up the tree 2 feet from u and continue until he feels victory !! Haha I got my revenge today !!! On a good note it's good practice shooting , walking the hills and trying to get a clear and steady shot with good placement . Some shots can be far. Ever since I got my 17 I feel like a little kid again . Best gun to shoot hands down . Can't even knock over a empty beer can. That's fast.

Due to unsafe ice conditions decided to go out with the 17. Had to take care of a couple problems that I have in the Pines during deer season. They were out heavy until the snow came.

I drove by long pond and cranberry ,.then to Conesus and down to Hemlock not 1 person out. All ice looked sketchy from the truck. Anyone goes out be careful.

Fine cut / chop / or grind meat.
Put meat in a bowl
Mix 2 eggs
Put in cornmeal and season bread crumbs. Mix. Add bread crumbs as needed.
Make in to a ball and make a pattie not to thick tho.

375 in a little bit of oil.
Couple min per side

Add salt and pepper and other spices to your liking.
