  5. You guys are the best, I really appreciate all the ideas and the comments. I think there are a lot more newbies like me that know just enough to get ourselves in trouble. Thanks to everyone for ideas and advice, keep it coming. Sent from my SM-S920L using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  6. Tech2526 do you know what the make and model # are so I can look it up? Any idea how much it would cost for a new system? Sent from my SM-S920L using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  7. Very good point, I do remember the very annoying noise from a wheel mounted unit that a charter captin had a while back. Does anybody know if the newer steering wheel autopilots are quieter than a weed wacker? Thx Sent from my SM-S920L using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  9. All great ideas, and I really appreciate the input. I guess what I'm trying to find is a less expensive autopilot. Like a steering wheel control unit or something under $1000 for the entire system. I don't use a kicker, troll plate works fine for me. Thanks again Sent from my SM-S920L using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  10. The min-kota or an autopilot system? Sent from my SM-S920L using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  11. For salmon fishing? 8 hours of 2.5 sounds hard on the batteries. It would have to be a very long shaft also, bow sits 3' plus out of the water. Then you have waves and wind to deal with. Thanks for the input, just not sure bow mount is going to work on this boat. Sent from my SM-S920L using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  15. With navionics gold? I think you are looking at non gps units. This one is 599 at several stores online, without navionics gold chip. The chip is 150 alone. No big deal thanks for the reply though. Good luck fishing Lady O this year! Sent from my SM-S920L using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  16. It just so happens I've got one. $250 for the box and I'll throw the spoons in for free.
  17. I'll be in Henderson harbor 1 day a week for the season. Usually Wednesdays or Thursdays.
  18. A couple hundred spoons plus box, all different kinds. $250
  19. Nice new unit, it comes with everything. I removed it and installed new Hummingbird Helix 7 in my boat. Easier to see.... I guarantee unit to work 100% or double your money back! It also has navionics gold chip that I will include for an additional $100. I guess I'm open to offers, but I'd like to get $300 for fish finder and $100 for navionics gold chip. $400 total. Thanks for looking
  20. I'm looking for an autopilot to go on a 20' 150hp OB with hydraulic steering? It seems there is no half way inexpensive such thing?? I am open to any ideas or autopilots you may have for sale or know where one may be for sale. Thanks in advance!
  21. New price $350, I'd like to have a buyer lined up for Wednesday
