Is there a link to the rules? I thought I saw a post on here someplace but can't find it now. I will be fishing with my son and wife. It is our first tournament. Just want to make sure we know what we are doing.

with all the rain and crappy conditions up here and north we made a last minute decision to head south again. Weather was nice. fishing was slow but we did manage one nice rock fish. And saw a seal on the beach.

Well she is worse than me when it comes to looking for an excuse to buy another rod. And with more room on the boat now maybe that will be the better route.

Good luck. You should hit it about right. Sand fleas and bunker on high low rigs are a good bet. Fleas on bottom bunker on top.

Check out surftalk website. Go to the delmarva subforum. We mostly use circle hooks on fishfinder rigs with sand fleas for bait. Cut bunker and clams work too but are harder to keep on the hook and fleas are free...

I will be fishing for them in the surf on assetuge in a few weeks. Might be a little early but we got a nice one and a mess of huge black drum last year that time.

I have a hummingbird 899 and recently bought a terrova with I-pilot and us2. If I get the cable to hook up the us2 so I can use the built in transducer on the terrova how do a switch back and forth from front to back transducers?

I redid the transom on an 88 phantom . all the reseach I did said to use marine grade plywood (not pressure treated) and not to seal. I can't remember exactly how thick it was but I had to get various thicknesses of plywood and glue and screwed them together. Then I cut it out as one piece.

I just bought a 18ft bass buggy. I need to figure out how to get 2 batteries and a 2 bank charger under the console. Its going to be tight for sure but I think I can do it. I'm wondering about it getting hot in there with limited space. Has anyone on here ever done this on the newer suntracker pontoons?

This is probably the wrong place to post this so mods feel free to move it...

But my son (young adult) is an avid fly fisherman. We are from pa but will be spending a lot of time around otisco lake this year. Are there any good trout streams close by? Stocked or wild. He is pretty much 100% catch and release.

Thanks for the pics and replies! This helps a lot. I plan on trying a bunch of stuff and see what i like. Will that stuff work with smaller jerk baits like bass style husky jerks or would it be too heavy?

what wire do you use for you casting leaders? do you use one of those tools to make the twists?  

i found 2 tools. one makes a haywire twist while the other shows a barrel wrap.

Last year i used some of that tieable wire. Toothy critter i think it was called. It worked good but i was never happy with the knots. All the other steel i used seems to kink up after a bit. Esp when throwing small stuff.
