  1. I used to fish Hammond. Switched to cowy to get away from the pleasure boaters. No place to hide from them there. Sent from my LG-H820 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  4. That used to be our "home" lake. We tent camped there 7 or 8 times a year for the last 6 or 7 years. It is a weird lake. There are some huge fish on there but sometime you can't get anything going. We always did better there trolling that casting. The only fish we ever had that I'm sure was over 50 came in front if the upper swim area. Broke the net and we never got to boat it. That was a pure. There are huge tigers in there also. Down by the dam was always most productive for us though. Did you see any tigers swinging on top. Sometimes we would see 3 or 4 a day. Sent from my LG-H820 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  8. Is there a link to the rules? I thought I saw a post on here someplace but can't find it now. I will be fishing with my son and wife. It is our first tournament. Just want to make sure we know what we are doing. Sent from my LG-H820 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  9. with all the rain and crappy conditions up here and north we made a last minute decision to head south again. Weather was nice. fishing was slow but we did manage one nice rock fish. And saw a seal on the beach.
  10. Well she is worse than me when it comes to looking for an excuse to buy another rod. And with more room on the boat now maybe that will be the better route. Sent from my LG-H820 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  11. Good luck. You should hit it about right. Sand fleas and bunker on high low rigs are a good bet. Fleas on bottom bunker on top. Sent from my LG-H820 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  14. If your surf fishing its all about the spot. I have a couple links to reading the surf if it will help. I will have to figure how to post them here if you think they would help. Sent from my LG-H820 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  15. Check out surftalk website. Go to the delmarva subforum. We mostly use circle hooks on fishfinder rigs with sand fleas for bait. Cut bunker and clams work too but are harder to keep on the hook and fleas are free... Sent from my LG-H820 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
