My understanding is control kings hand held controller is not waterproof. I may be wrong, correct me if the guarantee it to be waterproof. If not that’s just crazy. I fish in a boat and it’s wet sometimes. And it does rain.

Wow , I knew the right people were here to answer the question. I have 2 sons who love salmon fishing and a new to me boat to hit it this year. Thank you for the encouraging words. I spoke to a friend today about the near collapse of fishing for salmon in Lake Michigan. Baitfish for Kings disappearing. What’s the predictions out there for Lake Ontario. Zebra muscles killing plankton he said. Not wanting to stir up a hornets nest , just curious. He said charter boats up on the east side of Michigan selling out.any thoughts. Smarter people please reply.

I already ordered the itroll. With the billet mount. I spoke to the owner. He can,t understand how the other companies hand unit is not waterproof. Super guy. Said they are rolling out I troll for large engines soon. My 150 Yamaha he said it would dial it down. I thanks you for the reply’s and can,t wait for it to get here. 

I am wanting to get  something to help run the Yamaha 8;hp kicker on my boat. I have looked these up , watched videos. The itroll , hunt mode looks interesting. Can anyone help me make a decision on one of these. Thanks
