  1. thanks for all the replies and tips guys all are greatly appreciated. it looks like i have a few fastenal stores not far from me . i'll start the floor removal next month let the project begin.
  2. i have found where the leak is just not sure what to do maybe junk it. i found corrosion on the bottom under the helm and polked a small drill right on through in one of a dozen spots by hand . the corrosion is just behind where the batteries are for the trolling mtr. i had put some marine sealant on the hole and had very little water after having it out on the water. now i'm at a loss as to what to do.
  3. That's what I was thinking also the batteries are on that side.
  4. I had plugged both the intake and the drain and still had lots of water so I crossed that off. I will replace both lines when I get the floor out. As to the other problem I'll have to see how bad it is after I remove the floor and flotation. Thanks for your reply.
  5. ok guys i found my leak i have some corrosion on the bottom starboard side just about under the helm and not just one spot . i poked am awl through from underneath the boat no resistance at all. so i put a little marine sealant over it and after taking the boat out i had very little water drain out after putting it on the trailer. now my question could the corrosion be electrolysis from my electric trolling mtr. mounted on the bow and in the water on that side of the boat and should the batteries be bonded to the hull ?
  6. Thanks for your info I'm taking in all I can get. And yes the transom is another concern that has been on my mind and don't know if I want to get into that. Again thanks
  7. I can see foam when I remove the seat pedestal bases and the foam is wet . I'm thinking its waterlogged along with the plywood flooring wet also. The water most likely is coming from the livewell supply hose that must have been rubbing on something. For now I'll just cap off the intake until I decide what I'm going to do and watch a bunch of videos on YouTube. Thanks for your input all is very helpful and welcome.
  8. this is what i'v been looking for i'v got a 1995 sea nymph 195 GLS and want to replace my floor. i think the floor layout is about the same as yours. i'm taking on water and would like to try and find out just where it's coming from after the floor is out.
