  2. Appreciate option but that is what im avoiding is lifting that boom everytime. when uou get in your mid 50s it doesnt get any lighter. Lol

There is no other way that I am aware of I to am in my mid 50s and my depth raider probe rigger is in a spot so I can lift tried all weight retrievers and they damage coating I recommend trying all spots on your boat to get best leverage point for that one rigger

  3. Maybe my research is incorrect but I can buy everything off amazon. This is what I am looking at. 500$ for hydraulic steering system, $1000 for Lowrance outboard Pilot Pack and $1100 for Lowrance HDS 7 Live. That’s $2600. Am I missing something in the package???? Any feedback about Lowrance?

I run the lowrance and love it not sure on your price for hydraulic steering but on my 135 Honda I was recommended by my dealer to go with sea star system instead of baystar and the price on hydraulics was double your 500 The improvement of the hydraulic upgrade alone was fantastic compared to cable steer

  4. Had a similar issue last year with my new to me Yamaha 150 two-stroke change the impeller still got it while trolling come to find out my problem lied in what they call the poppet valve it’s only $25 $30 to have a new popet valve put in small price but it did take care of my problem where as the impeller didn’t If it were me I’d change both good luck and your whaler is looking great

Stay flexible they’re not that far apart depending on your winds east wind I would fish Mexico a west wind I’d fish Oswego right inside the walls you can be completely protected and I’ve got numerous Browns doing that inside troll you can also sometimes get a good pocket of water just east of the walls down towards Alcan that is somewhat protected by the east breakwalls of the harbor itself so keeping these in mind wind direction can give you fishable days when otherwise should be sitting in the motel room looking at yourself if no wind or south wind flip a coin and pick
