New mercury 4 stroke 115 up on a 2020 tracker
-
I am relatively new to the eastern USA. Northern Cali transplant summer of 2019. What time of year do you guys typically winterize. I want to get in on some fall fishing but don't want to risk damage to outboard.
Thanks

do you use a special type of shrinkwrap? What thickness and how do you put the zipper in. Sounds very interesting
Thanks

I was looking for the 165 but couldn't find one anywhere. I bought the 175 but it won't fit through garage doors. I need to find indoor storage for the winter.
I am very happy with new boat, So roomy. engine is very quiet.

May not be the right place to post this but here goes...
Now boat won't fit in garage (too wide for single door).
Anybody have any tips on indoor winter storage that doesn't cost a fortune? I live in gates/greece area.
Thanks
Max

I have a minnkota terrova 55lb that needs repair. Motor powers up but prop won't spin. Same with remote or foot pedal. Minnkota has Seager Marine in Canadaguia listed as a service center. Called them up and was told that unless I purchased from them they won't look at it. Any body know of anybody in Rochester area who might be able to help?
Thanks

Mine broke near tip. I replaced with a st Croix. Maybe your had some unseen damage. Never saw a rod break on handle end before.
Cheers

Thanks Dan
Drag wasn't too tight, was trying to net and fish jumped. Was holding rod up with left hand and trying to use net with right. I ordered a St Croix from bass pro yesterday. Beautiful Musky, do you mind sharing the location?
Thanks for the reply!

So,
I broke my Lamiglas 8' trolling rod today while trying to land a pike. It was 8', one piece, 15 to 40 lb. It was fantastic for trolling for pike and musky. The don't make this model anymore (Lamiglas LX80HBC X11 ) so I'm looking for recommendations is anybody has any. I don't want to break the bank, Sportsman Warehouse had a similar lamiglas for about $110.00 but it was 9' and 10-30 lb. Prefer an 8' rod.
Thanks

Use a big spinner bait across the tops of submerged weeds in 12 18 ft of water suspending jerk baits as well earlier the better go deeper presentation as sunlight hits
Thank you! Will try that

hi
Recently moved to area from out of state and have been trolling Canadaguia north end last couple of weekends. We caught 5 Lakers last Sunday ranging from 18 to 25". Fishing regs state 21" size minimum but finger lakes have a 15" minimum size? Just want to make sure I understand regs.
Thanks
Cheers!

Hello to my fellow New York Anglers. just moved here from Sacramento last summer and am really enjoying the fishing out here! In Cali, I fished primarily Bass, trout and Salmon. Spent many days on my boat in the California Delta chasing those big bass around. Been fishing canadaguia recently (trolling) and caught some nice Lakers last weekend. Still looking for my first brown trout. Live in Rochester.
