I change them out. If I'm catching fish on other lures or depths I will change my coppers to try and match what is firing.

Headed to Olcott next Thursday (29th) for a week and was wanting to do some Lake Trout fishing after salmon fishing. I have never caught a Laker and am interested in trying for them. I got the gear for it including some Gambler rigs and death traps. Just curious if anyone has been targeting them around Olcott and/or if there is a specific depth I should be trying in. Thanks!
