I took a bear to him in November 24. He told me it would be done in May. I called him a dozen times since June and left him a few voicemails asking for an update. I also sent him a text and have gotten no response. Last week I stopped at his house to see if he was there and he didn't answer the door. I left a note asking him to call me back and haven't heard anything yet. He's clearly working on stuff and still around. His work area has barrels full of hides in pickles.
He used to work at SIVKO fur which is now closed. There are quite a few reviews on Google for that tannery about him with similar complaints. I also looked him up on the BBB and there is a similar complaint from this past April. It appears that the BBB was able to contact him and get a response.
I'm alright if it's taking longer than expected but I would like an update. He could have just taken my money and sold my hide and I want to confirm that isn't the case.
