Most any trib has some sort of jetty ,or breakwall of some type. Cast along the mudline ,light line ,personal preference would be a 3/8 oz krocodile . Get started early - before sunrise, be patient, somedays the shore guys do better than the boaters . Have had many such days. Good luck !

Sharon at Narby's ordered me a couple of dozen spoons that Cabelas and Bass Pro chose not to offer anymore. They came in a while ago,went out and picked 'em up this morning. She gave me a great price, by the way. Picked up a couple more things as well. We should give her shop a chance before ordering from the mail order shops, if she doesn't have what you want in stock, there is a good chance she will be able to find it ! The bigger stores have seemingly decreased their stock, while raising the prices on most stuff. Gander Mtn. sucks, and Dicks is useless to me. Check out Narby's , if you haven't already, you'll be pleasantly surprised , I will be definatley doing most of my business with them ,as opposed to the chain stores.

Pernaps the government could issue a special permit {TAX} for those so inclined to " Buffy Fish" This could coincide with the fore mentioned boat launch propositoin that was discussed in an earlier post . Personally I do not understand the concept of "buffy fishin" The only Buffy I ever heard of is that youngster from that show Family Affair. Buffy appeared to have no interest in fishin of any sort. Sissy , however looked as though she could handle a throbbing rod or two

Last year ,they pulled up at my favorite spring pier, big boat ,I think there were 4 or 5 officers- guns [big guns] . They wanted to know what I'm doing. I'm standing in about 6 inches of water, tackle box my net , casting off the East jetty at Sandy creek. Was extremely - [big guns ] polite to them - they checked my liscense and were off on there way. I may look suspious to some folks, but if I'm setting mines in the channel ,I'm probably not going to doing it at 8 oclock in the Am. Understand what thet are doing and all, but it seems they might be more succesful in thwarting terrorism other places. Either way, makes for a good story. By the way, that's the only time I have ever had liscense checked in over 30 years fishing !

Nice ! Looks like you might be the guy who offered to take me the other day, I am the husky [ not fat guy] from the east jetty. pretty slow from my end, not much time left for me , though. Got a 14 -15 lb rainbow last Friday, best fish this spring for me this spring. Good luck, lots of good info avaiable here.
