  1. I heard she was actually caught by some guy named Dave off a jetty somewhere near Sandy creek . Allegedlly he was using a 14 foot noodle rod, 6 lb. Trilene XL, and a 3/8 th oz. silver Krocodile. After a long battle , the fish was revived, and released, there may be some pics, not for sure how they will turn out, however . Enjoy your day, - Dave

  2. You're right about the bait in tight . I was the guy directly to your East when you left the pierheads this AM . Glad you got some fish, hopefully this rain will help things out a lot. Got 2 ' bows as well as a brown this morning , nothing huge, biggest was around 6 lbs . Back at it early Thursday, unless it's pouring rain !

  3. Anybody break off a fish using a silver/ black rapala around Sandy creek {Hamlin] in the last few days ? Got my Kroc tangled in some line this AM, there was a 8-10 lb brown with a rapala on the line I snagged ! Anybody have any ideas on why the fishing has been so slow lately? The brown today was the only fish I have caught in the last 3 days. Usually doing much better than this. Today the water looked real fishy colorwise. Only saw 1 boat out. Very strange being the day before the LOC. Good luck to all ! - Dave :D

  4. I saw you guys head out this morning, Iwas the land based guy on my usual spot. Glad you found a fish. Got 5 , lost 2 others. 3 browns - biggest 8 lbs., 2 rainbows biggest was same as the brown. Its been real slow fishing so far this spring, today was by far my best day . I think we need a change in the weather, or at least the hated East wind must go away ! See you again. Good luck - be safe .
