    That was a long time ago! I remember in 1988 there was over 12,000 entries. I bet they don't even get a thousand niw.

    I actually led the brown trout division for a few days in 1988. Smelt and a bobber off Charlottes pier. Ended up up in 17th, last day was horrible, all the salmon guys stayed in close that morning. Pier fishing was way better back then!

    Been a dismal spring for myself fishing from shore as well. Thought last evening would be good, nice color to the water,temp was good,bunch of mergansers chasing bait. Nada on the browns. Wondering what is going on
