Looking for gimball mounts for my electric down riggers.

Anyone have/had a Johnson outboard 2001 or newer? Im looking at boats and found one, but it has a 150 hp 2 stroke Johnson on it. Ive always thought of Johnsons as being at the bottom of the food chain. any input would be appreciate as usuall, Thanks ahead of time.

What is th e diffrence between salt water outboard and fresh water out boards. Can you use a salt water out board in fresh water with out any mods to it?

Which wiill have less maintance and last longer 2 stroke out board (merc optimax) or and inboard (mercruiser). Which one will last me longer especialy if I put alot of hours on it trolling. Any input will be very appreciated. Thanks.

Anyone own a 2002 0r 2052 Trophy, would like some feed back on this model;year 2002 or newer. Read some reviews online, seems like a good fishing machine. Would like to know how they perform out in the lake? Any info would be much apprecaited.

I think it will be great to start, but as the lake warms up fast im a little worried about bactieraspreading and killing off more fish ,beside golbies. We need a nice cold period to kill foriegn agents in the lake and clear her up. Just my 2 cents.
