I'm still using wire on the big divers, but do run 30lb Power Pro for
little divers and jets off the big boards. Very happy with it...very
durable. Moss Green, although I think I'm going to try a rod with
the new red this year.....

Hamburg, NY 3/8-3/11/07
Those 2 are run by the same group.

I'm running a Penn GTI330 for core. Doesn't take too long
for the customers to figure which rod not to grab! Ratio is pretty
bad. Had a problem with a washer coming off at inopportune times
that holds the line guide/spindle. Quick call to Penn solved that.
Got mine on ebay.....

I don't know how we have run across each other yet....Hooter docks
about 6 slips from me at the marina. Will also be in the 2 tournaments.
Did you have your boat at Dunkirk last year....I remember a big 'swirl
coming in...?

You have the right guy. I remember you,now that you have mentioned it, and yes, my brother did graduate in '81. I was '82.
I'm only at Wiley's once or twice a year when I'm at the oak for a few days. Most of the year its here in Dunkirk.

Thinking about updating my vhf this coming season. The one I have
was new in (gulp!) 1987! Seems to be ok, but every now and then
someone will say they can't hear me, so I don't know necessarily if
it is theirs or mine.
Anyway, just wondering what kind you guys run......

Stingers are a great spoon on Lake Erie for walleye. If you take
some of the larger bait fish that get spit up in the box, the stingers
are the closest in size. Spoons like Fishlander and Dreamweaver
tend to be a bit wider, and consequently don't see to do as well.
I have used them some on LO, but honestly, like some of the other
posts, I have a tendency to run the NK's first when I'm up there...

As some of you may know, Fishlander apparently has undergone some
type of restructing. Apparently part of that was a deal that has since
fallen through with Bert's.
Anyway, I had always dealt with Mike Steffes, who no longer is with them.
Fishlander will not offer me a contact number. DO any of you guys have
an email or contact outside of Fishlander for Mike?

Thanks for the replies...I guess I'll just keep deleting them.....

Guys:
I don't know about you guys, but I am getting 5-6 hits per day
to my charter business from pure spammers. You know, the kind
where you won a million dollars if you do x.y.z
Does anyone know what I can do to block these or get off their
email loop, or whatever.....?
Thanks.
