I tried spooling 1000' of the 19 strand torpedo stainless wire on a SG47LC Daiwa and all 1000' does not want to fit. I tried loading it as tight as possible, but I know that it will get tighter once I deploy all of it in the water and respool it under tension. My question is, will all 1000' fit? I'd hate to cut off the remainder that didn't make it onto the reel, only to have space once the reel is tightly loaded. I know 1000' of normal 7 strand stainless wire will fit on this reel, didn't think that the 19 strand would be that different.

Correct, Go Pro 3 uses micro sd, was wondering what the most widely used card was. 32 it is
Thanks

Just ordered a new Go Pro 3, and was curious what size SD card everyone is using or has found to be the best.

If it's right on the keel part, the marine tex should work just fine. That's all glass right in there, so no core to worry about.

What kind of hole are you talking about?? I think that needs to be addressed first as mentioned above the bow of a boat takes one heck of a beating

stupid question here, when adding the salmon, should it already be cooked? or is this the part where the salmon cooks?

Was there any shore ice or floating ice to deal with?
-
There was some skim ice and some bigger chunks throughout the river this past Sunday. Nothing to really worry about.

I will take a set as well

I'm starting to feel the love between you two!

Emails don't always work, best to just pick up the phone and call. People usually respond to a human voice much faster than an email, and often stuff is lost in an email that is easily transfered by talking.

Get a survey......... lesson learned same as Tim and Brian
No sense rushing into a purchase, as they say, spend a little now or a lot later

IMHO...debating the intricacies of the new laws is not what we should be focused on at this time, but rather how we are going to quickly become solidified as a group of like citizens and become annoyingly active and vocal in fighting against these and future politically motivated aggressions against our freedom, in particular veiled actions that do nothing to solve the issues for which they are being justified. The cards are stacking against us..
EXACTLY!!! United we will stand, divided we will fall. The in-fighting among gun owners / sportsmen etc needs to combine into a united stand against losing our freedoms

Is this a pretty big event? What kind of vendors are there, or is this mostly a used goods type of sale?

What kind of mast is it?

Sorry to hear that Brian, it really is a tough thing to go through. Few years ago our family's Doberman Hunter passed due to cancer, not long after that our GSD Heidi passed too. Vet couldn't figure it out, must have been a broken heart. Give extra love to Dozer, he is hurting too. It really is too bad that they live such short lives.

Chad, have you ever launched at Sturgeon Point? From the satellite pic of the marina, it looks like a small place. Would be a lot closer run to the fish from there I think.

Fished out of the small boat harbor yesterday with a friend in his 19' Starcraft. Water seemed pretty low at the docks, just wondering how launching a bigger boat would be, as it seems like the docks are pretty short, not reaching out into deeper water.
To launch his boat, I backed the truck in and he drove the boat off the trailer and then back on when returning, with me operating the winch. Not sure I can do that with my 24', looking for anyone else's experience. All the other boats at the launch yesterday seemed to be similiar sized, around 19'.

still waiting for pics of the bloody table....
Yeah, where did we see that before??????
19 Strand wire on a SG47 Daiwa?
in Tackle and Techniques

No, I did not use any backing, the wire is tied directly to the spool with duct tape wrapped over the knot once around the spool to give the wire some bite. The 19 strand is a little thicker than the 7 strand, I didn't think it would make that much of a difference.
