  1. It would have been really great if you had listed a price here. Thanks
  2. Great post. Sounds like a good time was had by all. Even bad days fishing are better than any day spent at work. Although one does have to work if one wants to play. Thanks for sharing the story and the pictures.
  3. Sunday and Monday mornings. Nothing on boards. Riggers 3/5' down over 14/24 FOW. 130' leads. Blk/Sil Orange belly Smithwicks, and small copper Sutton spoons with a bit of red tape with red eyes. 2.2/2.7 SOG
  4. Excellent response and point well taken. Sound advice we should all follow.
  5. My wife and I are lucky. We have a camper on leased property. Only 5 miles to the lake. We live in NH and it's exactly 300 miles doorstep/doorstep. I run a 24 foot Thompson with a Yamaha 9.9 kicker. The kicker takes the sting out of the price of gas. I never gas at a marina. I always trailer the boat to a gas station and gas her up there. We are both in our 60's and money is getting tighter for everybody. I, personally, have never fished anyplace that I enjoy more than Lake Ontario. The cost of getting there hurts and once there the cost of groceries hurts as well. My Dad, RIP, once gave me a bit of advice. "The cost of living is EVERY penny you make." Along with that piece of advice I'll say one more thing. If you don't have the money to pay for something, DO NOT put it on a credit card. In time they will consume your income.
  6. The fishing was phenominal. We limited out, both on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Fished 50 FOW from Rudy's to well west of the can. Ran the riggers 35 to 45' deep with 130 foot leads. Fished the boards using 200 foot leads. J-11 jointed Rapalas. Black/ silver, fire tiger, flourescent orange, and the clown all worked. On the riggers it was the habenaro, and the die hard. Off the water both days by 10:30 AM. Lots of boats but everyone was considerate of one another. Saturday was just a GREAT day to be on the water. The majority of fish, for us, came off the boards.
  7. MB, thanks for your help. I went on and set up a new shortcut. I have the same info you posted for me. Thanks.
  8. Geez, when I log onto lakevision I get absolutely nothing. That is using my desktop short cut. I'll go back and try to log on directly. Thanks for your help. I'll be out there this weekend Fri-Mon.
  9. It doesn't work for me for some reason. Are you saying the city is done with Lakevision??
  10. Thanks,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,now the wait is on!!!
  11. I have been trying to get onto it for what seems like weeks now. Is it gone??? Thanks
  12. MOST of the people that fish out of Wright's are good people and this is a perfect example. VERY nice gesture, especially after enduring the dissappointments that were already dealt you.
