  1. Love your confidence

I had auto-stops installed on my brutes, but then I went to braid, wasn't happy with the beads I used on the braid so my auto stops are non functional

However they work flawlessly while running cable and I would highly recommend them !!! Unless you get free trolling weights...

  2. Yep and also a serge in the last few years of the amount of weight our main forage is putting on (alewifes)

From Spring trolls to Fall trolls our Alewife are getting bigger faster than ever before !!!!

Eating our water fleas was mentioned?

  3. Where is Gerry Bresadola or Troy Creasy. I am sure they could shed some light on monies donated towards our Oswego pen projects from our Oswego Pro/Ams, thus while they were involved. I am sure more actions are in place that many of us are unaware of, I do hear bits and pieces of ""Yup we were again able to generate $xxxx towards the pens this year" I hear this from our local little events from time to time.

Gerry Bresadola in association to ELOSTA holds monies generated for pens from various avenues. Tim B could also shed more light I am sure

  4. Exactly what I was thinking Vince !!!!

So much will come out of our tourney days in the end, without us our incredible fishery would not be near where it stands today.

On another level back in the early 90's we had drastic limits imposed on certain panfish takes to cure or counter the sale of such, since this was imposed many small fisheries are full of "dinks" due to the "under-take". Much controversy here in this issue but in places where we would take quality fish it is impossible to pull quality from certain areas now.

Attending any of 3 State of the Lake meetings may shed some light on the thought of tourney/angler impact. DEC in various ways are even eager to attend some events for their future references. It was mentioned last night how useful these times could be to future studies, targeting them is a plan for potential very useful info.

  5. Thanks Tim, Curt, Joe, Pat Comerford, all LOTSA personnel, helpers at door, the many I am forgetting, all vendors and captains, all occupied booth reps., seminar hosts and the like !!!!

Thanks to all who came and supported the entire event, us as vendors, especially A-TOM-MIK and more importantly the NET PENS !!!

A special thanks to Spoonpullers Norm and Jay and to Steph and Jeremy Botting, I could not have done it without all of you

A tremendous success for us due to a very well layed out and put together event, much hard work and thought

  6. The problem I would foresee in this would be the fact that 3 different vessels are now registered under one fee.

Lets say more than one of the buddies each fishes off their own vessel on the same day, is each vessel still eligible for an entry that day, even though only one was registered?

    Oh Dave ???????????????

  7. In the last few days we put the "LOTSA show stock" on its displays:

The bulk of our goods consist of the following:

-90 color variations of Spin Doctors including about 40 existing custom A-TOM-MIK colors (about 600 total spinnies)

-135 different color fly patterns including 12 NEW colors first debuted at "LOTSA 2010" (Over 1000 fly bodies)

-60,000 ft of our copper about 200 spools

Other items like Clinchers, Black Releases, Ball Bearing Swivels, our Torpedos, Owner hooks, Twilly Tips, beads (Pete Alex will have a full compliment of Braid backings)

We WILL NOT have extra copper loaded reels at the show, very sorry for this, they went fast again this year, we will work on rainchecks with deposit through Pay Pal or credit card. We do not have delivery dates on many reels yet (unless you have already talked to me you will be getting your reels)

    Tom
