  3. Great heads up Rob.

The Feb. meeting is going to have the first aid classes taught (certification is good for 3 years) and the Red Cross classes (certification good for one year) also same night. The red cross certification is mandatory for 50% of any charters random drug testing list they submit to the coast guard each month. Cost for both classes is $15 total I believe.

Also great information on upcoming law changes in D.E.C. 2010 Like no more cleaning any fish off shore in N.Y. state if the species of fish has a legal N.Y. state size limit on it. Bass-Pike-trout-salmon etc

These are great clubs ANYBODY can join. Best way to stay current or get answers on any issues.

  4. Hey TEAM Yankee,

I REALLY had my share of fish and laughs today also! This was a Tremendous weekend of fishing for us and the hundreds of bait schools out there this AM was a first for me also. Hey we even snuck back out for 2 hours after noon and boated same class bows and a 24# dark shark to boot.

That is "some friend" you must have calling you (+14 boats) out there on the local radio channel, because his 3 cell phones on board did not work out there, At early AM last day of derby. KEEP YOUR FRIEND AROUND!!!!!!!

    Had fun man THANKS

  5. Billy,

Your welcome to come up here anytime to fish with us. Just say the word and you already saw the spare bedroom. I am sure it was nice to get away for a day and see plan B west end style. I made the trip complete for Bill by bringing him to Oak Orchard for lunch. Then to the docks to meet the local Captains. I am sure you were glad to here their complaints of the oak fishing all week. Sounded like Fair Haven West. Todays trip Me and Jay stepped it up a notch and made yesterdays catch look tame. SORRY RAY NO PICTURES!!!

PS I know ray well enough to know he kidds ALMOST as much as me. No harm No foul just to much driving/thinking and onions on your bacon burger.

Please take me up on a return trip this year or so to see plan C LAKE TROUT

Do not laugh untill you see the 1st place check Jay (trout-n-about) cashes mon at LOC derby awards.

Best of luck the rest of 2008 and please keep the "BAD JU JU" going on Yankee troller till next years Pro-Ams>

  6. Tom

    Congratulation on that awesome fish!!!!!

And how dare you call me out on that proto type fly.

You are 100% CORRECT is was in a clear bag marked tourny fly on it. And yes

You sent me quite a few, the year you guys (cold steel) dragged up a winning catch of salmon near bottom off the college/Ford shoals in previous Oswego Pro-Am YEARS BACK. (Man I still have nightmares at night seeing you guys line trolling back and forth ALL DAY LONG as my brown catch was being crushed just outside of me)

Note to self: Spend alittle more time on fly sets instead of ALWAYS re-inventing SPOON SETS!!!!!

Again congrats to you and tommy G.

You realize this sets up a date between the COLD "super fly" STEEL team and the RUNNIN "spoons fed" REBEL :D EAST END STYLE.

As usual Tom you make it extra fun and interesting, Cannot wait. See ya soon.Best of luck TILL THEN.

Jerry Felluca (FALLUCA gets the point across also)

  7. Tall Tails,

BRIAN NO more stories about REBEL'S handicaps and I mean HANDICAPS. I still do not let family spot anymore for me because of the free spoon tips you and your dad received that tourny. But I bet you and your dad and father-in-law can tell you some stories they witnessed with electrical tape and a LOUD CAPTAIN!!! You did not mention your streak of just behind finishes at every PRO-AM stop last year. MAN did that cost you and your wife ALOT OF ICECREAM. HA HA HA HA

    SEE YOU RIGHT HERE!!!

    SOON

    Best of luck

  8. Thanks for noticing Bob.

We did have a very good run on teenager kings that day grabbing both 1st places and grand prize with 3 different teenagers.. BUT am happier to be back west again in port. Log free  Congrats on holding off steelhead challenges from off the hook (Ken B) for your rainbow win and my dock mate jason/tricia Trout-N-about hit the lake trout division. Great weather for a change, but still do not know what a credenza is :?: HELP ME OUT BOB.

  9. Paul,

You did not learn much from on here this time last year. :?:

Hey why not point out that their are part-time weekender PRO teams also LIKE TEAM REBEL :!: As for the money end of the pro-ams I would estimate only 3-4 pro boats turn ANY profit for any tourn. It really comes down to who loses the least amount of money :$ Keep up the work Paul and I will run into you on the practice days
