Well we got up to the lake too late to fish tonight. I talked to a couple of friends out there and it sounds like the fishing is still dead. They were 100-200fow. Temp is down 130ft and they were marking fish 120 down. If the weather cooperates I think we'll go offshore and see if we can find some steelies and 2-3yr olds. We also checked out The Bay Street restaurant and Martini Bar, ok really only the martini bar haha. We joined Wayne (stoutner) and his wife for a drink. It was a cool place witha huge martini selection. Theresa got one of their desert martinis made with Kona coffee liqour. It was pretty darn good! We've heard a lot of good things about their food as well. It's upscale and a bit pricey, but probably a nice change from the usual Sodus spots. Good luck to everyone out there tomorrow, stay safe and tight lines! Nick

What software are you guys using to edit vids?
TOP SECRET replied to buckboardjr's topic in Fishing Videos
Look into the Sony Vegas line... a pretty decent software can be bought for less than $50 and is MUCH MUCH easier to use than movie maker. It's more stable and will allow you to put together quick clips. I use Sony Vegas on my windows laptop and iMovie on my Mac. Most of my salmon videos are done on my laptop since I do them up at the lake. I used to do them on moviemaker, but it got too time consuming. I think I got my software off amazon for like $25 or so. Normally the low water levels drive us off the lake by mid September. This year, if the lake level doesn't drive us off, work will. We have a large project and they wanted us to work weekends Sept through December. We were able to switch our shifts in Sept, but will need to work them in Oct. Our plan is to fish next weekend, and part of the following weekend, then pull. We store our boat at my Father's house in southern NY. That way we have someone to watch it over the winter and also can work on it and crash at their house. They also live 20mins from the Hudson River and the striped bass migration in Apr/May is a good salmon warm up!
