  1. Fishing Report Your Name / Boat Name: ============== TRIP OVERVIEW ============== Date(s): Time on Water: Weather/Temp: Wind Speed/Direction: Waves: Surface Temp: Location: LAT/LONG (GPS Cords): =============== FISHING RESULTS =============== Total Hits: too many Total Boated: lots Species Breakdown:kings/browns/cohos/steelhead Hot Lure: Trolling Speed: 3.4 Down Speed: 2.4-2.5 Boat Depth: Lure Depth: 50-70 ==================== SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS ==================== Sat Got out with Capt Rich for some hot fishing off Rochester.. Saturday we took my daughter out for her first real fishing adventure! We headed offshore to find some steelhead for her to tangle with. Since she is only 12 we wanted some fish she could handle even though the big boys were in tight. We set up about 10;00 a.m and for the next 3 hours we never got our 5 rod program in the water...every rod on the boat went multiple times.. to many rods going off to count the hits. She ended up landing 2 steelhead, 2 browns, 2 kings in the 5-10 # class and a coho! She fought a big boy for 10 minutes and ended up losing him about 100 ft from the boat as he was sharking across the water... We would have stayed longer but the heat and slow roll coming off the lake got to her and she was fighting the sea sickness the whole time..What a trooper! Couldnt be prouder! Sun evening Took our better halfs out for a beautiful evening on the water. Set up right in front in 100 ft and bang! Diver went nice king in the box! As i let the same diver out started tightening the drag at 200 ft bang..another king in the box! The next few hours we picked at em until every rod had taken its hits! 5 kings in the box a coho and a brown.. I would say which lures were hot but everyone out there is catching fish on multiple presentations.
  2. Shake Run j-plugs off of your boards or just flat-lines. Stick with silver, glow greens and more silver and glow greens. Put a couple splitshot about 5 ft in front. Let them out 50-75 ft behind. Put them on your riggers and vary them 5-10 ft down depending on depth of water. If you are short on time i would take the family out the last 11/2 before dark. Stick within 200 yards of the piers. Trolling speed 2.3-2.7 sog. As the sun goes down the kings that are very fickle this time of year(for many reasons) will often lightup the last 20 min before dark. You will catch them!
  3. Garmin 182 color Fisfinder with dual transducer and map with chip in it. Excellent condition works flawless. 225.00

  6. Mark Yes Rich knows his stuff! Thats why we make a pretty good team Plus he is a blast to fish with. I will be running some more trips with him this year. You will be seeing me more again around Mayers. Setting up the new rig, first venture hopefully this weekend. Thanks. Chuck
  7. 2 planer reels with line in excellent cond. 120.00 for the pair.
  8. Worked with Capt Rich Fiandach on his boat Fired-up Saturday. (wow, what a boat!!) We had a steady slow pick from 6:30-11;00, then it just shutdown for us.No steady pattern, or particular program. Took hits on wires, riggers and boards, and one on the full-core. Mixed bag of Kings, steel, and coho. Lost a monster steelhead that broke our leader. Still jumping 5 minutes later trying to shake a white echip with green glow fly. Also saw what i beleive to be a dead Sturgeon. Big fish, big scales decomposing but had to be 5ft long. (add pictures and any other details not captured above here)
  9. Cowbells are great, but not always needed. Put a few magnum glow spoons down 2-10 ft of fthe bottom. Troll 1.8-2.1, this should get you a few.
  10. I am going to add just a little extra, when the bite is tough. When fishing in summer for kings, dont be afraid to throw and keep a rig down in the "cold, out of temp" water 44- 48 degree water. Also when inside 150 ft dont be afraid to keep a rig 10 ft of the bottom, even when you are not marking them.
  11. Yes Frank they are . 2 are in mint cond, the others are in used but good working cond. Thanks
  12. Lowrance 3000 gps with map cd etc.. l/n .. in new cond... 275.00$
