  1. Hawkeye50,

any chance u can post some detailed pics of the bracket(s) under the swim platform for the kicker?  i have a 255 intruder with same platform & want to mount a kicker in the near future.  did u make or buy extra brackets for kicker support?  how is the road bounce when trailer'ing?

    big thanks!

ouch! that sucks! line fraid & snapped.  wonder if the eyelet on lower half had just a hair of movement that over time finally gave up!  is that a store bought one or home-aid one? Fish Hawk makes a breakaway for down rigger balls.  Still cheaper than losing probe!

Only have 2 riggers, probably time to replace the other... preventative maintenance :)

i thought u ran 3 from past pics/videos.  i had a cannon mag 5 HS fail this past weekend using a 20lb shark.  i worked fine for 30+ minutes up/down in deep water, then struggled one time just before reaching surface.  either board went or motor gave out.  calling fish307 shortly to troubleshoot it.  looks like light wind out there and 1 foot waves!  wish i was back up there instead at work in SE PA! :(

Absolutely love it! Touchscreen is a bit hard to use under power in rough water though. I did miss having a separate chartplotter though, so I picked up a lowrance hook9 to use in tandem. The base maps suck on the lowrance though. They were very good on the base simrad. Anyone know where to pickup a navionics or insight chip for cheap?
