Both will be closed for a week beginning on March 5 - 12.There is a sign posted on the center dock.Work is going to be done at the entrance.Could this be dredging?The lake seems to be at an all time low.We beleive that most of us would have a difficult time getting to the lake.Zeke & Cyn (Strike 3)

Andy,we were at both launches this afternoon.The Treman launch will work for your winter boat.The were 2 boats ending their trip qhen we got there.Both were in the 17' to 19'....Taughannock looks good too .The water is winter pool low.Luck to you and have a safe trip....Zeke & Cyn(Strike 3)

John..We've used both with absolutely no problems.As Shawn said,the 20# does load up w fleas. The 30# is lots more forgiving and pigtails are less of a problem.We haven't been out much the last few seasons but our catch rate was bout equal whether we ran 20 or 30.Used to order from McMaster Carr.... Couldn't beat their price.They only will sell in a max of 500' now.Best price put there was the Malin in the 10000' spool.Take care ..... Zek & Cyn
