THE ASSEMBLY VERSION HAS MET OPPOSITION FROM A (SOME) LONG LONG ISLAND ASSEMBLYMEN.THEIR CONCERN IS OVERCROWDING ON THE FISHING PIERS.THE BILL HAS BEEN AMENDED TO READ "UP TO 3 RODS PER/PERSON IN FRESH WATER".IT IS BACK TO THE SENATE AT THE 3RD READING.THEN...IF PASSED,IT WILL GO BACK TO THE ASSEMBLY.IT IS ASSEMBWOMEN RUSSELL HOPE THAT THE BILL WILL GO BACK TO THE ASSEMBLY AND BE OUT TO THEIR FLOOR FOR A VOTE IN A WEEK OR SO.......ZEKE & CYN(STRIKE 3)

I wasn't smart enough to finish my day near Long Point so getting back there from above Levanna took awhile with the no wake restriction . It was like dragging 1k lb weight behind the boat.

A staffer from Assemblywomen Russell's office just called and said their version of 3 Rod/person will be discussed in the EnCon committee next week....from there it will go to the full Assembly for a vote. Zeke & Cyn(Strike 3)

The bill passed the Senate...55 ayes...1 abstain.....6 excused.It was delivered to the Assembly.From there it went back to the EnCon Committee.As the Senate version sailed thru that Committee....one would think that the same bill(Assembly version)should do the same.The bill is where it was stalled last year cept that it has come thru EnCon.Now is the time we need a push from our Assemblypersons.....We are getting closer......Zeke & Cyn(Strike 3)
