i see people out there in boats barely bigger than a row boat and they seem to do fine. pay attention to weather (wind direction, storms, etc) and know the capabilities of your equipment and you will be fine. sometimes fishing out of my dads 16 foot aluminum is more fun than the 28 footer in the spring. when you fish in NJ do you troll? if you troll into a 2-3 footer with a boat that doesn't have a big bow you might be taking some water over the front so be careful.

Fished Trench area all the way around the finger. had decent action in all the areas with most of our action coming off of dypsey divers out 200' with Live Wire Spin doctor and matching fly. Did have a nice king we lost at the boat on a Echip hologram with a green stripe running down it. Kings are in the trench but not as many as I like to see. Hopefully within a week or two it will be loaded but then again so will everybody with a boat in the northeast!

are these best in the 8inch size?

I need to restock my arsenal with new flashers for the upcoming fall run. There are so many colors and brands to choose from so I need help selecting a few good ones. I know there will be a whole slew of suggestions but could you guys name your top 3 go to flashers and size. Thanks a lot!

Was wondering if a Chrysler engine was an option for the Penn Yan Pro Hunters in the late 80's? I have seen a lot of the Chevy engines but have found one with a Chrysler 300 V8. Thanks!

Great all around boat for fishing the great lakes. The engine is great on gas and super quiet unlike 2 stroke engines. Boat comes with trailer, Raymarine A-65 Sonar/GPS unit, vhf, Depth Raider, 2 Mag 10 riggers plus other options. Never in saltwater and no bottom paint. Not a stains on the boat and always scrubbed clean after every use. Under 200 hours on engine.
