Funny yesterday I fished Newcastle and got 2 kings in 110 - 130 FOW down 40'. Landed 2 bows and a coho and called it a day after 4 hours.

Looking for either Cannon or Scotty electric downriggers. If you are thinking about selling or upgrading, this is a good opportunity. Thanks.

I live in Ontario and I can tell you this is overpriced. Sure Islander's are not all over the place like Michigan or NYS, but the demand isn't as high as well. I purchased a 2007 221V with a new trailer in NYS 2 years ago for $12495. The boat had less than 20 hours on the engine.

I find that droppings from the neighbours dog collected and left on the bow of the boat keep the flies away from me.
-
Are you looking for one or are you posting one?
-
Bowfin - quite aggressive too.

Maybe I'll knock out a few of my teeth, wear a wife beater shirt today and jump into a 1974 Ford F-150 so I could fit in. I'll make sure I don't slip up and let the occasional "eh" out to blow my cover. And I won't have nothing to report until the American fish make their counter clockwise swing around the lake - probably another few weeks before they show up in numbers.
But I do want to congratulate the NYR's for knocking out the Canadien's last night. That made my day.

Is Ray the only person on here who can have fun every now and then?

Not to ruffle any feathers, but a post like this when people just rattle off "brown", "laker", or "WTF is wrong with you guys, it's a....." like in another post is ridiculous. It's similar to when folks post a question asking what people's favorite downriggers are and it turns into a @#ck wagging contest without any information.
It would be much more helpful for others to post your reasons why you think it's a certain species, so that folks like me can learn from your experience and knowledge.
Thanks,
Chris

How many hours on the motor? Does he have any service records and how long has he owned the boat?
-
Why not $990 for a new 9.9? You get a warranty but you sure can't beat buying a used 2010 9.9 for $99.
-
Waiting for a newer price
-
I will offer you $50 and a 3 year old pair of chest wader (no leaks) for these decals.
-
If you buy this boat, you can run it through the channel, throw up a 3' wake, and laugh how guys in 18' tinnies bounce off the breakwall just like this guy ran it at Newcastle. Real class act.

Newcastle Ontario? If so, that is called Bond Head. What year is the boat and has it had a recent survey? I'm in Bowmanville so I could come down to view the boat in person. Thanks.
-
Any soft spots on the floor? Are the bellows in good shape? What hp is the engine? Any issues with the stringers? Do the brakes work on the trailer? Thanks
-
Where are you located?
-
More like 40 miles east of Bluffers
-
Great Ontario Salmon Derby - this is held on the north shore of the lake. A 40lb pig was weighed in yesterday.
-
Fish usually don't move into this area until mid-June

What? No spoonpullers posting? Nice job Steve.
-
I second that - the same wording as it was in March 2012.

Fish have entered the tribs......and lots of them.

Tightlines has by far the best selection of cold water species tackle and hardware. BPS is a waste of time.
1995 Starcraft Islander 220V Outboard
in Boats for Sale

No - 4.3L I/O 220hp. Outboard models are rare but they are certainly not worth $10K more either. I purchased this from New York State and it was freshwater use only in 1 lake. This boat was not rigged at all. Here are some pics of this boat;
