  1. When I purchased my place in the islands two years ago , I borrowed money from my deferred comp plan. It's a low interest and you pay yourself back. Then I just took a small personal loan to cover the rest. That was the best option for me. Being at the lower end of 30 with many more years to work, I was a great option. But if retired or creeping up on it in 10yrs that may not be the best idea just a thought

  2. Braddocks currently only has the one main launch which as of 2 days ago was taped off. Also the owners Daniele family wasted to time hiking the rates mon-thurs $9 and FRI-SUN $12 seems ridiculous for a ****ty launch and minimal parking. Maybe I've just been spoiled with free or $5 launches thus far. Your best bet would be conesus if you wanted pike

  3. One neighbor claimed water supposedly wouldn't crest until June possibly, but not sure where that information came from

  4. If the rain holds off, I think and hope the water would drop a few inches at least and make some ramps/docks more accessible. When I left today a light wind was pushing less than a foot waves right over our main dock

  6. I have a cottage near sunny banks in between the cape and Clayton. Would love to hear how high the water is. Hopefully our dock survives

  7. Out of all years I've hunted and had friends walk to the stand around dark or push to me walking to the truck, I've never looked at them and said that could be mistaken for a deer or any other animal. I can only assume if the guy was trespassing the hunter would assume that at that time another human wouldn't be walking around, although it's not an excuse. I feel bad for both parties
