My brother and I fished Waneeta yesterday. He was looking for his first musky. Gave up trolling early due to floating weeds. Before making his first cast, Matt decided to practice doing figure eights. After a full minute of nonstop figure eights this fish blasted out from under the boated and hammered his 8" Bagley!!! Never casted! Jumped three times boat side. He was pretty excited. I was happy because I had heard fishing had been tough, and I know there was quite a bit of pressure down there this weekend.

We been doing pretty well with the walleyes up there these past few weeks to. Trolling flatlined deep diving crankbaits at sunset.

Zach, those look fantastic. I'm jealous, I tie my own flies and I look foreward to making my own lures someday. No new hobbies until the kids are older. Not enough time for the hobbies I have now. Keep up the good work. It is good to see so many people talking about pike and muskies. I joined the forum a while ago, but at the time there wasn't much chatter. Muskylips, I suspect your partner is not thrilled with your new interest in this site!
