  12. Hi Guys ! Im Steve and I live in Toronto Canada.I just Joined this site! I have a 1978 19ft Grew with a 1988 115 o/b merc. it sat for many years and didnt have to do a lot of work to it (it sat in a buddy's garage and he was glad to see me take it - it was his father's who I always looked up too who past away).I gutted it out and modernized it into a great fishing boat .I called my boat The GatLanne Gun cause the motors a 2 stroke and has alot of balls (alittle more to the story but ill save that for anoter time ). My step father taught me alot about respecting the grat lakes and learned alot of my first lessons on Lake Huron. I enetered The Chantry Chinnok Championships many years up there and watched fish sizes dwindle which was such a disappointment .It got so bad my step father sold his boat. But now I can return the Favour and take him out(He is the butcherboy) . I just starting to figure out Lake ontario on the canadian side out of Port Credit. The biggest king Ive landed was a 26 lber. There is really no other feeling that gets that heart pumping other than ....well Im sure You know what Im talking about and I look foreward to this new season ahead as the more you fish and talk and read about it the more success you have . Which brings me to this site . I think its really great how everyone looks out for each other and I hope to make some great friends and mentors. Ive been entering The Great Ontario Salmon derby for the last couple of years but have yet to place.Hopefully this year Ill have my line in the water at the right time in the right place. But like everyone knows there's never a bad day on the lake.I launch out of Lake front Promonade near Port Credit. My boat has a red stripe around the top and is white on the bottom . My handle is "The Paperboy " as im in the paper industry. I plan on being on the lake quit abit this year as long as gas stops climbing(ill be buying a good kicker but wont have the cash till after this season.Im thinkin a nice 9.9 Honda 4 stroke. !The Derby Starts on july 5th and runs to august 23/ 6 weeks and I can hardly wait .I got a gut feeling about this year but I guess I do everytime I go out Fishing!! I find it so exciting and I am lucky enough to have a wife that enjoys it to . Well just wanted to intoduce myself and let ya know somewhat what im all about ......I like talking about fish and making friends to share stories with that can keep it Reel and Honest...Pun intended. Well Hope to meet some of you out on the lake this summer and good luck to All of you .... Be Safe and save some kings for me ...... [/u]
