This guy has a full two sets of guides and documents for them. I can scan a bunch and email it to you if you send me an email address.

Just like dog crap...double bag it and tie it closed tight.

For the guys who pm'd, saving multiple replies. Will get pictures of mold tomorrow and post them. Mold is in Dansville but can be in Buffalo soon if I bring it back with me. Thinking $75 for a nice piece of KAD CNC work, lol.

My pops dug out a mold he made, which was machined by him back at the big yellow box, which makes ball with long finned weights which I have a few of and weight in at right about 14#. They are essentially a 10# ball with a long 4# tail. They track great. Anyway, I don't see he or I ever making more weights, but figured maybe someone in the business or that needs a bunch might want the mold that only made about a dozen weights in its life.
Let me know, I can get take pictures of my weights next time I'm at boat and can get a pic of mold (though it is just aluminum with four long handles and a clam to hold it closed).

How deep is it at the dock?

I'd use acetone and steel wool.

Only ran three hours, 4:30 to 7:30.
3 for 5 but all but the laker seemed to be clone chinny shakers in the 2# range, even the misses seemed little guys that just shook and spit. All between 220 and 280 FOW all between 45 to 75 down. Marked a bunch of scattered bait also between 40 and 60 in that zone.
Side note, fleas are no doubt picking up, got a good spattering tonight, much more then last week. By next week we'll be in the pull every 45 mins to shake them off zone. I think I may spend a couple of weeks just cruising with the family and working a few bass holes I know with the canoe until the flys and fleas clear out and the lake sets up for a strong August and Sept hopefully.

Out between 220 and 300. Slight temp drop at 70 down, quick from 52 to 47. Working it with riggers and divers. A defined slick on surface. Setup at 4:30 and pulled a skipper 40 down on a pirate and a big laker(16) 75 down on the hawk rigger on a stingray, chrome purple and blue.

Nice rig for someone looking to do some serious hauling of gear. Steiger doesn't mess around with their construction.

I agree that they do little...But if your worried those guards to me seem about a 15 minute fabrication. Grab a sheet of 1/8 or 3/16 aluminum from the local big box home center, cut two sides and put a little curve on them, throw a quick MIG weld on three edges, drill out a couple of 1/4" holes, mark and drill lower unit, a couple or screws, bolts and lock washers and you are done. 15 mins and prolly $20 in parts.

Was looking at some stuff today.

+1 Byerlyfab..Have several..They are sturdy and well priced..They will custom fabricate to your specs also..
Can I get some custom fab'd attached to a 42' Viking with rods already in the holders with trophy sized fish already attached and a bikini model ready to bring me a beer? Those are my specs, lol

Look on ebay as well. I've seen pairs on manuals with telescoping booms roll through there for 250 a pair many times.

If it has a force engine and insurance...don't do more to keep it from falling off then you have to.

Generally if you price a product, you price it with a margin. If you didn't, your fault.
While I give a bonus (preferred language to a tip, as I don't believe most professions deserve a tip) for many reasons to almost anyone from the guy who works on my car, to the girls at my sons daycare, it should have nothing to do with being needed to make a living.

Thanks for the info

As much as I love my Grady, something about the lines of a down eastern always has appealed to me. They are a type of boat that is either loved or hated.

I would recommend you look at the high thrust 8 and remote throttle package sitting on this very site in classifieds right now.
It may be a little more than your boat needs, but it would run great, give you nice control and it also gives you the option to put it on that 22 Pursuit or 23 Trophy that ends up in your driveway someday, haha!

Anybody run the GLP rod holders?
I am looking seriously at a couple 009's and maybe a one of those special hardtop rocket launch setups that would be awesome for my rig. I know nothing about GLP but their stuff looks solid and no nonsense, not fancy mind you, but functional and about half the price of berts, cisco, cannon or big jon.

Just to prove me a liar...today got on late at 8 and hit nothing...until 11. Then ran 7 for 9 until 1:30 when it got quiet again. My biblical lunch time famine was feast today.
Just when I think I have it figured...it screws with my head.

Does it match the bra on the front of your truck?

Kept the Chinook, the Atlantic and the big Steelie. They were all full of alwives, big alwives too and barely digested so they were out feasting today it looks like. The Atlantic had 1 partially digested down deep and 3 in his gut that were fresh so I'm surprised he was still feeding. I guess that old saying about pigs and hogs was true..
