  1. Shane a 52" pike is in the 37 - 42 pound range, Nice catch :yes:

    If you ice fish February is a great time to catch several Big pike, They start coming in from the the bays from the Big-O in February to feed and get ready to spawn and you can tell if it just came in from the lake by it's tail, I don't know why but for some reason they will have a big circle on their tail that disappears a few days after they come into the bay .

    For bait the best i have ever found to use is Red Finn Shiners over any other shiners, Red Finns are super Hyper and they never stop moving around and if you use them on tip ups you will want to check them about every 1 1/2 hours because they will swim in circles and twist your line so bad that they will be just below the ice instead of where they belong near the bottom .

  2. same here scott i was going to fish the same spot but no place to park so i ended up fishing the south end with the other 200 people that were there today but no one was catching anything bigger than 5-6 inches perch, Here's hoping that it get's better :beer: think i mite try port bay next time it can't be any worst right

  3. Seneca lake is the best place i now to go if your looking for big jack perch :yes::yes:

    Lake Ontario has them to but i just haven't figured out how to find them yet, I've known a few guys that get them all summer long but not me I guess I'm just a dummy so if you figure it out please share with me how to find them ;)
