My 9 year old son hunted with me this morning. His very first trip to the deer woods.
We got into our stand an hour late, lol. Apparently good fortune was on our side today....20 minutes later we saw a first racked buck chasing a doe. He chased her across a logging trail and back again. Could not have planned a better morning. A Wonderful day together and Lasting memories.

Muzzy 100 works for me. I shot a doe yesterday and she tipped over in 40 yards. One blade was chewed up from a rib. I replaced the blades and it’s like new.

I was just sitting at a stoplight in Syracuse by the zoo. A doe comes flying down the hill with her tail tucked and runs between the cars into patch of woods. I literally said out loud, "Come on, where are you?" Sure enough 30 seconds later a small buck comes through just hauling.

I noticed DeerCast is showing poor deer movement even after the cool down. It seems like the type of cool down to get them moving though.

Very nice buck. Congrats.

I do it the same way. I range trees in my shooting lanes. Then as a deer comes in I judge the distance based on those trees.

OnX is awesome.

Another new free one (for now) is the Drury “Deer Cast”.

It takes all the weather and moon variables and gives a prediction for deer movement for the next few days.

No you can do it online. You need to sign in and under annual hunting items there should be a spot for DMPs.

I have zero issues with my browning cams. I set one up in time lapse mode on a small plot this year. That is interesting to see where they enter and exit. Most of the time I run them in video mode and they have great battery life.

Great, now that theme song will be stuck in my head all day. "I'm watchin' the Orlando Wilson Fishin' Show". Reminds me of being 10 years old.
