  1. You can expect "cross-talk" when operating 2+ transducers on an identical frequency. This "cross-talk" is created by the intersection of sonar waves (cone angle when referring to high speed transdcuers) as they intersect one another somewhere below the boat. Most users who require multiple transducers of the same frequency will simply turn one off. The only way to determine an outcome with 2 transducers of the same frequency is to: #1 - completely wire your electronics and install the transducer you know you will use and #2 - wire your 2nd set of electronics and while both units are on, drop the transducer over the transom, or, better yet, temporarily secure the 2nd transducer in various proximities to the 1st. Safe boating.... Captain Chris
  2. We use a uniquely formulated adhesive for permanently mounting our engineered transducer mounting systems to the boat transom. It is designed and packaged specifically to be highly effective for the duty which could accompany high speed boat use. Our adhesive will provide a permanent bond and will perform exceedingly well on both aluminum and gel coat on fiberglass following our simple instructions. "Over-the-counter" adhesives typically will not have the strength to perform adequately in demanding marine environments. It's important to note, that adhesives and the various substrates that one might be seeking to adhere, must must have specific specific surface energies (Dynes levels) for them to make an effective bond.
  3. Hey guys! This a really nice transducer mounting bracket. http://www.sternmate.com The Bosun
