Could of been worse, I lost two probes and two shark weights in the same week one time!

After the first probe and ball added a safety line with a crimp, cable broke at the crimp for the second set.

Every year now if not more often i change the the terminator and check the cable.

We did the same thing on Friday, out deep nothing. Picked up two lakers in 160' to 200' Cut bait down 120'

We use 30lb Andes and 10' leaders for browns and steelheads and 20'-30' fluoro carbon for salmon.

Spiny water flees will be a big problem in a few weeks.

Looked at the Gopros they do not seem to have a housing for trolling.

This has been on my wish list for a long time. What is the best underwater camera system for trolling?

Systems all seem to have 50' cable and would be best for ice fishing. How about trolling down 80' to 110' ?

Also can they be attached to your down rigger cable?

Started fishing in April last few years. We seem to get a lot of Fog on the lake. Looking at a Garmin 18" Phantom Radar system for detecting boat traffic around me.

Does anyone have have the Phantom system and if yes will it work? Also I have rod holders on the back of my roof. Will they interfere ?

How about a Shimono 700? How many yards/ feet of 30lb Mono?

We went West Friday and Saturday.

Friday boated 1 Atlantic, 1 Steelhead and 9 browns, biggest was about 10lbs.

Saturday 3 kings and 3 brown trout. Biggest king was 18 lbs.
