Registration is required on trailers and boats (not sail and some smaller/motor less boat), insurance is not required. Good luck on the lake!

Anybody know whether either launch is open - going out Saturday am.

I heard you on the radio say you lost the whole rig. No lying, I was trolling out front of the big river in about 50 fow and saw a green ladder back floating by. Looked like a size 5. I went to grab the net to pull it in, but I was out solo and did not get the net out in time. I radioed that I past a plug, but no response.

"Action never got really fast, just a pick all morning" Nice job - from the reports, sounds like good fishing out your way. I'd take 9 hits over 4 hours. I was almost happy with the 2 hits I got in 5 hours out Mexico way. Ofcourse, I'd take that 12 lb. steele over a couple juvie kings

Got out yesterday just north of the Salmon River. Excellent bite until the cold front shut things down at about 10 am. From 6 to 10 we went 7 for 12 with a freakishly large small mouth and pike thrown it to boot. 2 biggest browns went about 8 lb. Everything on boards and stick bait. Nothing on riggers or spoons.

I fish out of a 16' fiberglass open bow primarily in the smaller lakes, but spend more time in the big lake from mid/late august on. I want to give browns a shot now and am trying to decide between traditional boards with a mast or inline boards. Anybody happy using inlines for browns. If I went traditional, anybody have any suggestions for mounting a mast in the open bow of a fiberglass boat?
