I replaced the fletches with the shrink wraps from Buck commander took a couple pics I love how the smaller fletches fly this thing is ready.

  2. X2- besides from dipseys being farther away from the boat they are also wandering around a bit in the water column. I do ok with riggers and I tend to run my leads shorter than longer

Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

. Right on here always thought a huge difference my divers did much better and often on Cayuga would pull 3 Dipsey rigs they move up and down in the column with boat speed and turns always more hits!!
  3. BS for sure getting the discharge bolt. Am I gonna hunt with it can't freaking wait!!

I am bolt shopping this weekend I'll look for the Barnett's I just don't like the fletchings on these. I ended up with a 1/2 inch piece of old plywood behind the target bag and anther bag against that ...the bolts were smashing through the plywood too I mean wow.

I saw that G3 online looked slick Gambler this Predator is heavy duty I wanted something that would last a few years and allow some extra distance.

  4. A definite challenge lining up the bow section and fitting the crossed strings inside the slotted slide area. I managed it very cautiously all seems like its operating well but I know from sighting in my son's PSE express it as important to have quality bolts and fletching as it is with compound bow gear. And now much more speed and energy so all is intensified. You still need to settle in and squeeze. I bought a Caldwell field pod it's well woth the 90bucks and fits the Predator well.

Next up sight in with broadheads and new target...thanks BS

  5. Barnett Predator just started sighting in ...60yards with cheap bolts

Hey what do you guys use for a target man these crossbows have a ton of power the bolts blast right inside my archery blocks. Look how beat up the fletches get ...terrible

  6. It can be rough in the summer time when the lake level drops and clears up trout get spooky you can watch them streak away from your rig when trolling on a graph. I always had best results pulling a dipsey diver rig off braid as close to the bottom as you can get the disc down there. 60-70fow small spoons . Darker colored dipsey and if you can troll with a trolling motor and no gas engine putting along...way better my experience

  7. It's the perfect lake to get a kid fishing! Always a quiet spot to toss bobbers around both my kids started there . And you can hop out and explore the shoreline too alot of cool rocks and incredible huge forrested ravines to climb around in. Take a couple chairs and just kick back with lunch

  8. I have a Ruger New Model Blackhawk in .41mag and love it. I keep my shots under 50 yards with open sights. The only drawback to a .41mag is the price of ammo.

. How long is the barrel? I see the 7.5 and 10.5 at gallery. 50 yards is pretty good
