  1. Didn't haul along the fishin gear this time went down this am with my wife. Definetly shopping for a fishing kayak cannot believe all the fish you see sliding in so quitely on top of them.

This yaking thing is a little overwhelming just a ton of fun and no crazy launch to deal with ...carry it down and plop it in gone.3 minutes a few pics just a blessing to have lakes like this around still. Mr gamey was there keeping a few other folks honest too so tighten it up guys if you plan on hitting the twins this summer.

  2. Not public access there are farm ponds around if you see from the road I doubt the owners would object to a few kids tossing for sunnies just ask. I always opt for Hemlock from shore or Canadice alot of casting along the shore there and right now you can luck onto an occasional trout while the waters cold and weeds not bad.

  3. Hey that's awesome . I cut my teeth stalking chuck's with my Dad's Marlin 44 mag in the farm fields around the southern tier. Best of times!! I packed alunch and stalked the edges all day alot of fun and a great way to learn how to shoot !! Nice shooting good times!!

  4. I bought a Martin Melee at Field and Stream. Love it !! 349 + 60 bucks for arrows all set . you don't need and expensive bow from an archery shop.I still have my old Browning Heat shoots nice my back up.

Good luck and get a bow first the season is longer

  5. Lol I.bought 4 cans of white tractor enamel for.my 16 foot aluminum years ago. It looked awesome get the high gloss white just make sure you mask off everything and do it outside if you can. Came out beautiful got alot of compliments when I sold it. Tractor supply like 3 bucks a can.

  6. We also have pics of young bucks ribs showing . They seem fine I think yes there is variety among deer populations. We have a strain of deer with white patches on the legs and around the hooves . pretty cool I saved the legs of one small button buck we shot a few years back.

  7. Taking my daughter 14 next weekend for youth hunt in Allegany County. She is thrilled shooting the Marlin .44 mag her grandfather ,my Dad , gave me. Alot of awesome memories surround the rifle.

Anyway good luck to all this season taking out a son or daughter!!

A great trophy to my family is a deer that taste good . you bone collectors leave me a 1.5 year old doe and thanks.

  8. Wow you guys have some good stories on gear fumbles!!

Left my bow on top of my explorer after an evening hunt along rt15 in Hemlock. Could not believe it rode up there for 3 miles before the dread came over me...wow and I killed a nice buck with it one week later Nov.4th. Just **** luck it didn't tumble into the road..
