  1. If the bulb won't get hard u prob have a leak on that line somewhere . Replace The line with bulb, dirt cheap if u get it at Walmart. I have an 18ft Lund Tyee with a 100hp Evinrude and I always have to give the bulb 2 or 3 squeezes before she'll fire. Soon as the bulb is hard she pops. Good luck, nice boat
  2. Yes, yes, yes, flurocarbon leaders for any type of fishing. Seaguar is the best, double Bimini knot to the swivel. Blood knot always to join 2 lines together unless you're talking about wire. Only exception would be if you don't want to land the fish......
  3. Nice boat man, a steal at 4 grand. Been sending the pics to my buddies. Paid 4 grand for my 18 foot Lund with 100 horse Evinrude and thought that was a steal. I'm sure this deal won't last long. Would buy myself if my wife would stop kidding me about divorcing me : )
  4. Name: Mark Location: Catskill NY Home Port: Hudson River Boat Name/Type: Lund 18 foot I fish for: Trout and Salmon ================== (Hi everyone, I'm Mark and I've been fishing the Lake Ontario tributarys for 28 years and my best fish were a 13 lb steelhead out of South Sandy Creek, 12 lb brown out of Oak Orchard Creek and a 40 lb King out of the Salmon River. Both trout were on noodle rods with 6 lb test, I like to give the fish an even chance of winning the battle and let me tell you there were moments when I thought they were going to win. Well, I finally picked up a boat that I can put on the lake and I'm just dying to see how they fight in their own. I've heard and read that, especially the Kings, they are quite different in the Lake and I read on one of the posts about a guy who had a 30 pounder peel 600 ft of line off his reel. If you can't tell already, I've very passionate about the trout and Salmon and think you have the finest fishery I have ever seen. All the fish up there are just big and healthy, amazing. Anyway, I stumbled across the website, just trying to do my homework before taking the first trip up to the lake. I think your website is great, so much information and so many kind people willing to share their experiences. Hats off to you all.
